Edges Salon & Spa opened September 2002 in the rapidly expanding area of Crowfoot in the North West sector of Calgary. Mike Chammoury, Founder of Edges Salon & Spa, envisioned a sanctuary that provided a space for Calgarians to feel like they had entered a home away from home where they were taken care of, welcomed & relaxed.
His vision not only exceeded all of his expectations, but it grew exponentially to serve a massive population of men and women in the Calgary and surrounding area. As Edges grew, the entire Chammoury family joined the leadership team to continue growing and taking care of the initial vision Mike set out to create. Inspired by their Mediterranean background, the space is filled with beautiful stone pillars, lush and luxurious fabrics, and an ambience that will transport you to a time where you feel like royalty. It’s warm and welcoming environment is full of individuals who pride themselves on making you feel like you are being taken care of in an environment that is comfortable and familiar.
Our Spa, independent of the salon, is a tranquil sanctuary where the stresses of everyday life will melt away. Enjoy our relaxing and rejuvenating services delivered by a skilled, experienced and nurturing spa therapist. All of our hand, foot, facial and body care is done in the privacy of our Spa, where a fireplace burns, the lights are dimmed, and you get to indulge in yourself.
Our guests are welcomed by our friendly team of Guest Service Specialists, who take care of every reservation, and prepare you for each visit. Whether you are visiting the 16 chair salon or our secluded spa, your wait will always be accompanied by a complimentary beverage, top of the line retail shopping opportunity, and the ability to enjoy a beautiful atmosphere.

Our Team
Our team is made up of a diverse group of people who are so passionate about their craft and the industry. They are dedicated to furthering their education, delivering exceptional results, and building lasting relationships with their guests and team members. Our support staff are also an integral part of our success, helping us deliver the experience our guests know and love.
We are truly a family at Edges, with the majority of our team members being with us for over 10 years. It fills our heart with so much gratitude to have nurtured so many of them from their days fresh out of school to successful service providers with an abundant clientele. We love growing our own people and creating the next generation of stylists & spa therapists.

We have created a unique environment that sets us apart from other salon and spas in the city. Our luxurious space filled with custom stone work, crystal chandeliers and comfortable chairs creates a warm and inviting atmosphere to forget about your daily stresses. Every piece within Edges has been selected with love and care to create a one of a kind space that reflects our passion for taking care of our guests.
Our Community
Our Mission: To use the skills of our industry professionals to make a difference in our community by directly supporting families and individuals struggling in poverty.
Edges Salon & Spa has always given back to their community and worked with amazing organizations like ONEXONE, The Community Kitchen Program of Calgary & The Women’s Shelter. We have hosted cut-a-thon events (Haircuts 4 Hunger) and raised over $50,000 since opening in 2002. In honour of our 20th anniversary, we felt that as a team we had come to a place to make a direct impact to those struggling by creating our own non-profit organization. Haircuts For Humanity can benefit a variety of people in our community with various struggles. We plan on having proceeds from retail sales & future events go towards families in need during times of crisis, and donating to causes that are special to us all.
We hope to expand our reach and connect one-on-one with our neighbours requiring a helping hand with the help of our amazing team and loyal guests. It is because of their dedication and commitment to making a difference, that we can do our part to lift up our community and work to build humanity up.
